A Guide For Exercising

Your Spiritual Gifts

Now you have determined your dominant and subordinate Spiritual Gifts. How exciting! Now, however, you may have the age old question “So What.” That is a legitimate response and one that deserves an answer.

On the pages to follow you will find Spiritual Gifts information divided into three major categories: The Speaking Gifts, The Ministering and Serving Gifts and The Signifying Gifts.

Each page is devoted to one gift. Here you will find a list of spiritual references, and a definition of the gift. In addition, I have listed characteristics common to persons having this particular gift. There are also cautions listed to help you understand ways in which Spiritual Gifts can be abused if you are not careful. Last, you will see current examples of how this particular gift may be used in a church setting. This list is in to way exhaustive. It is intended to give you suggestions as to how you may want to exercise your dominant gifts in order to gain confirmation that indeed they are the gifts given to you by our God.

As you study the pages referring to your Spiritual Gifts, pray for God’s guidance as you seek to do His will and fulfill His purpose for you like. Your Spiritual Gifts are an intrinsic part of His mission for you.
