DEFINED: The special ability given by God to welcome, entertain
and other services to visitors or guests
CHARACTERISTICS:
- Opens home willingly
- Don’t complain and seem to be easy going
- Hospitality before pride
- Love stranger and feel perfectly at ease with them
- Expect no return invitation
- Homes are warm and inviting
- Don’t worry if their home does not look perfect when
people arrive
CAUTIONS:
- Be cautious and discerning about who you invite into
your home
- Be accepting and patient with those who do not have
the gift

- Entertainment services in your church
- Greeter for potential new members
- Arranging receptions, banquets and special functions
- Foster parent program
