DEFINED: The special ability that God gives to certain members
of the body to communicate information relevant to the
health and ministry of the body and its members in such a
way that others will learn.
CHARACTERISTICS:
- Receive a great joy from studying the Word and doing
biblical research
- Prefer to use biblical examples rather than personal
experience
- Like to present truth systematically
- Fully expect people to learn from their classes or their
writing
- Some use gift through media; radio or TV
- Are patient with their students
CAUTIONS:
- Be careful to present information in an interesting
fashion
- Lessons need to have practical application
- Avoid a prideful attitude about the knowledge you have
